Runyerera Bernard Londoni

Location: Boca Raton, FL
I am from the Democratic Republic of Congo, a junior at Lynn University, Boca Raton, Florida, majoring in International Relations and Affairs. Before I came to the United States, I worked for the American Embassy, public affair section, Harare Zimbabawe at the Educational Advising Center. Currently, I am the South-East Region Representative for Africa Action, a Washington DC advocacy organization and steering committee member of Africa Action Student Network, mobilizing students on university campuses and local communities to advocate for US-Africa policies that promote political, economic and social justice in Africa. I participated in campaigns to urge the U.S to use its global leadership to help stop genocide in Darfur, to end HIV/AIDS in Africa and in the rest of the world, and advocate for Africa dept cancellation which is impoverishing the continent. After I agraduate in 2009, I am planning to pursue my Masters and PhD program in International Affairs or Public Policy.
