Mark Griffin founded Play Rugby, Inc - a 501(c)3 approved NPO in 2003 with a philosophy of "developing youth through rugby". As a member of the USA National Team Mark understood from personal experience the life values children could gain from playing rugby, if coached appropriately. Therefore, Play Rugby, Inc provides curriculum-based non contact rugby programs, run by trained coaches during and after school. These programs are delivered in urban areas primarily to underprivileged students, thus bringing the benefits of rugby to children of all backgrounds, ages, sizes, shapes and abilities.
