As a business storyteller and social entrepreneur for more than ten years, I have helped organizations to shift perceptions, raise money, and reframe conversations. I founded THIRSTY-FISH in 2002, a boutique story consultancy based in New York City that translates new ideas into cultural acceptance. Previously, I helped start and lead two social enterprises in the fields of workforce development and public service. I write and speak on issues of innovation, branding, and culture, most recently contributing as author to the leading compendium on strategic storytelling, “Wake Me Up When the Data is Over: How Organizations Use Stories to Drive Results” (Jossey-Bass, 2006). I’ve worked with a range of clients at the leading edge of global renewal – including AARP, Ernst & Young, Marriott, NASA, The Nature Conservancy, and countless emerging enterprises.
