He was there for only a few days, but after what he saw as he was leaving a Phnom Penh restaurant on his first night, he decided to stay. That was 12 years ago.

I liked your story about the contrast between "des enfants de la rue" and seeing a Mercedes drive by. Le premier fois, "des personnes de la rue" converted me and broke through my blindness was when I was waiting for my father's chauffeur to pick me up in a mercedes. What a contrast! I was holding my very first paycheck at the time. As for the rest of the story... I'll wait to share it until we have a glass of "champagne" avec vous.

I share your hope that in ten years... we will no longer have des enfants de la rue. That would be a great objectif as you say...

I really like the use of cause-branded products to promote awareness and generate income. Very smart.

However, I couldn't find any links to online stores where I could purchase the goods and support the cause (http://www.friends-international.org/products.html). Anybody know where we can find these online?
