Keely Stevenson - Kenya & Tanzania

Acumen Fund Fellow - Class of 2007
Global X interviews star Social Edge blogger and Acumen Fund Fellow Keely Stevenson in New York, as she just returned from East Africa where she worked for A-to-Z, a mid-size enterprise producing mosquito nets. Her lessons: for a social venture targeting the bottom of the pyramid, the distribution channel is of the utmost importance. And pricing has to be right, too!
She tells Global X how difficult those decisions were for her: is $6 per net the right price, or $3? Why not $1.50? Should we subsidize the production of mosquito nets, or should we aim at being sustainable and giving the market a voice?
Listen to Keely's voice.
(This is Keely Stevenson's second interview with Global X. You may want to watch the first one here.)

She IS a world changer
Having two daughters and done a lot for Humanitarian work as I can (usually for FREE), I really dig how amazing someone like Keely is. There are talkers and doers. She IS the latter. A few amazing people do fuel what I do (on top of being currently a Mister Mom like Tony of Who's The Boss) which is pumping up and helping people, especially to be their own destiny. Keely shows me, like Global X in his own manner, how to better this planet for our kids in a way that WILL BE remembered cosmically!
ANYHOW, merci pour cet super entrevue Global X ...On devrait se parler!
