Change is good!

Global X loves change! Yes, change is good, as is boldly stated in the most recent issue of Wired Magazine, which introduces a new logo, a new layout, and quite a few new features.
Global X heard from his Palo Alto friends that Social Edge was going through major changes: the best online community this side of the universe is now hosted on a new technology platform based on an open-source content management system called Plone, and there are many new features – including a podcast series and the first online encyclopedia about social entrepreneurship in wiki format (Global X loves to say “oui qui”!).

And the new design... It is almost as beautiful as the flowers Global X received from a wild fan just last night. Who did it? The Untangled dude. (The layout. Not the flowers.)

But Global X knows that change can be painful. Importing data from an old platform to a new one can be a daunting experience, and Global X was a bit taken aback by the new registration process. “Where is my profile?” Global X muttered endlessly to himself. He can’t even start a conversation without announcing in dramatic tones: “They changed my password!”

But as Ford likes to say in its recent commercials, the Edge is never dull.
The fact is, Social Edge “deux point zéro” absolutely rocks!
