Hello Kjerstin,

Welcome to the 2008 GSBI application process, and thank you for submission of your Target Market Statement. I am happy to be the GSBI Task Force member who will provide you comments on each of the exercises.

Your submission is nicely done. I have just one requested clarification. In your table describing the positioning of your service and the alternatives to it, including the size of the market each alternative serves in terms of number of beneficiaries would help demonstrate the current impact of your organization and illustrate its place among existing competing options.

This is an excellent beginning to your application. You may submit a revision of your Target Market Statement if you’d like. You are welcome to advance to Exercise 2 at any time. I look forward to reading the Value Proposition for FORGE.

Regards,
Susan Mandle
2008 GSBI Task Force

Thank you, Susan.

In response to your feedback, I've added a section for "Population Served" under the "Size" column in Market Position table.  I hope that this gives you a better sense of FORGE's relative positioning.

Please let me know if there is anything more that you'd like to see.

Sincerely,

Kjerstin
