Hi Suresh,

Your submission of Exercise 2 contains all of the information necessary for a good Value Proposition and is well done. Should you wish to make refinements, distilling the two paragraphs you have written into a more succinct statement would make it stronger. You may be able to convey everything in as little as one sentence, as illustrated by the template for writing this style of value proposition:

[Name of organization] provides [products/services], which are [statement of key differentiators], for [target beneficiaries], and thereby creates [statement of social value/impact], unlike [competition].

Exercises 1 and 3 provide detailed information on the “why” and “how” of your enterprise that can be omitted from Exercise 2, such as the description of the needs you are addressing, the characteristics of your target market, and how you operate your enterprise to deliver the service you are providing. The value proposition, written in terms that will resonate with your beneficiaries, is a simple statement of what you are providing, what makes it unique and valuable, and for whom.

Your interest in improving your submissions is appreciated!

Regards,
Susan

Dear Susan,

Thank you for your comments. I have tried to refine my previous value proposition. I hope, now it has taken a shape.

I appreciate that you have spare your time out of your hectic schedule in reviewing my proposition.

Thank you, as usual.

Best regards,

Suresh Acharya
