Santana Verge EcoVillage offers residential parcels for sale for ecological development to create capital, community members, and attention for the project’s ecological programming. El Fuego del Sol EcoTourism Center provides cultural, historical, and ecological programming that connects tourists with local Dominicans and the unique richness of the DR. El Fuego del Sol will serve as the clubhouse for Santana Verde. Force of the Sun (Eco-industry division) manufactures sun ovens in the El Fuego del Sol facility creating fair-trade jobs and an example for additional eco-industry development. The sun ovens produced are available for sale or tax-deductible donation for Dominican’s in need in conjunction with our US-based non-profit partners. All divisions feature the use and display of alternative energies and sustainable technologies. The integrated approach of this development creates a long-term sustainable network of ecological solutions including significant publicity, social and ecological improvements and corporate profitability that will allow the project to grow for the foreseeable future. Although competitive destinations such as Costa Rica feature extensive integrated eco-tourism for visitors, the 1.5 million international visitors to the eastern region of the Dominican Republic currently have no integrated eco-tourism destinations.
