YES Institute - Miami (FL)
YES Institute, a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1996 and based in Miami, Florida, is hiring an Executive Director.
YES works to eliminate the core causes of suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and all youth and ensure their healthy development by initiating dialogue, providing education and creating support systems.
The Executive Director (ED) will serve as the chief executive officer of YES, with responsibility for:
• advancing its vision and strategic direction
• maintaining and growing YES's strong reputation and effective relationships within the community
• ensuring that the organization is fiscally and programmatically sound
• secure funding and increasing fee-for-service revenue
• and effectively manage a highly committed staff and board.
The ED must be an engaging leader and experienced manager with outstanding communication skills who is able to convey effectively the mission and activities of YES to a number of audiences, strengthen the organization and secure resources, and balance internal management with external impact and visibility.
