India Development Gateway

Three Positions – Hyderabad, India
The India Development Gateway (IDG) is an Intellecap incubation project that aims to overcome the information and trust asymmetries limiting investment in social enterprises by creating an online marketplace. We hope to connect social entrepreneurs with potential investors such as grant making institutions, corporations and high net worth individuals who are looking for simultaneous social and financial returns by supporting the former and offering a one-stop service to the latter.
Marketing Director – IDG, Hyderabad, India
Profile: Working with an entrepreneurial team to establish the India Development Gateway (IDG) as the preferred place to make social enterprise investments. Involves building both brand and marketing strategy, understanding and communicating needs of customers, meeting with institutions and high net worth individuals, building awareness and managing communication with customers.
Requirements: Able to do the following:
1. Refining our current understanding of diverse target markets and establishing marketing strategy to reach them.
2. Establishing & streamlining brand as premier social investment space!
3. Liaising with the project lead as well as local and international sales representatives to ensure we meet ambitious targets
4. Helping the competition team increase its reach by giving valuable suggestions to the supply side marketing strategy
5. Actively help define tools which can be used to enhance investor and entrepreneur experience, and bring them closer together.
6. Build a team to ensure continued quality communications and customer service.
Associate – IDG, Hyderabad, India
Profile: We need passionate people who can understand and support social small and medium enterprises, front and backend. Skills would preferably include a business background, thorough understanding of early-stage companies and experience in working with them as well as an entrepreneurial mindset. You should be fully comfortable with online technologies.
Requirements: Able to do the following:
1. Define, test and implement social, credibility, and business ratings for incoming business plans.
2. Ascertain investor requirements, defining business plan output, and building new tools that can help make investing on IDG simple and successful.
3. Mentoring social SME’s
4. Identify trends and weaknesses in business plan upload practices, combating them by arranging for appropriate training, workshops, templates and online guides.
5. Work as part of a team designing and ensuring implementation of networking elements (including discussion & expert forums, guides, templates, news etc) of the IDG platform, which will bring both entrepreneur and investor closer together.
CTO – IDG, Hyderabad, India
Profile: As the interface between company and technology providers we are looking for somebody who is new media savvy, has experience implementation of software products, with an understanding of necessary technology (Java, .net), and leadership potential.
Requirements: Able to do the following:
1. Work as part of a team designing of networking elements (including discussion & expert forums, guides, templates, news etc) of the India Development Gateway (IDG).
2. Ensure smooth implementation of all new tools and functionalities for the site. Manage programmers as required (in or out of house)
3. Ensure intuitive user-flow on website
4. Maintenance and reliability of service. Ensure beta-learning is implemented.
5. Visualize the structure and processes of the platform and assist with the overall visual communication
