Communications Director, Takoma, MD

1Sky (www.1sky.org) is a powerful new campaign to aggregate a movement at the scale of the climate challenge we
are confronting by communicating a positive vision and advocating a clear, simple set of goals and policy initiatives. 1
Sky was borne from the collective urgency and determination of a diverse group of leaders who believe that we must
converge quickly and enthusiastically to form a movement capable of achieving solutions on the scale of the problem.
Our diverse movement has many strengths, audiences and organizing strategies and 1Sky aggregates that power. 1
Sky is building a central staff of approximately 25 located in the D.C. area that works cooperatively with 1Sky partner
organizations around the country to carry out our mission.

The Communications Director will be a full-time senior strategist and manager within the organization who will
lead the effort to shape our communications strategy for education and advocacy campaigns.  The
Communications Director reports to the Campaign Director and works in tandem with the Internet Director to
