Strategies Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a professional prevention specialist to fill a part-time program coordinator position. Able to effectively work with diverse populations. A self-starter who enjoys working in the urban middle school environment. Ability to keep students engaged in a non-traditional classroom environment. Proven success in following and achieving grant objectives and experience completing grant reports. Excellent communicator, motivator and role model for children. Conflict management and training skills. Detail oriented, working knowledge of Word and Excell software and data tracking skills. Proven success as a team member and collaborator. Knowledge of practical/technical best practices required for effective youth violence prevention programming a plus.
Must be able to work daily at school, during school day hours, Monday-Friday, some evening and weekend hours. 25 hours per week. Hourly salary commensurate with experience and education. Benefits include accrued
