As a member registered with www.socialedge.org, I am so delighted to state that the Global Links Initiative(www.glinet.org) ,a registered company and a charity in the United Kingdom has entered into a partnership agreement with Goodwill social work centre,Madurai,India(www.goodwillsocialworkcentre.org) on 6th October 2007 to work together to provide services and capacity building programmes for GLI Networkers in Tamilnadu, now numbering over 300.This formal agreement deepens and strengthens the friendship, respect and collaboration that already existed between our two organisations and enables us to work even more closely together on practical local initiatives, exchanges and projects. Goodwill social work centre is taking on the role of GLI representative and ambassador in serving the needs of GLI Networkers and local NGOs in Tamilnadu,India. Part of this new role is to take over the management and creation of the Tamilnadu content for the GLI English Language Website recording the inspiring stories of local GLI Networkers, news of their projects and activities and sharing their experiences and expertise with the wider GLI Global network.

Both GOODWILL and GLI,UK are planning to organise short term programmes/courses for NGO administrators,development professionals and GLI networkers in Tamilnadu,South India. If you are interested in partnering with us , you are most welcome to join with us as one of the multistakeholder partners in taking up capacity building programmes for NGOs in the state of Tamilnadu,India and extend your arms of support and assistance. >    now we are doing some services like free tution to pupils, forming SHG among dalit womens,givie training to educated youth grils ie.DMLT, DPH,awareness generation progarms & savings and credit programs.now we are preparing the  youth for vocational guidence. now we are running aternative schools for the school drop outs. after that we will enroll them in the reagular schools. already we have enrolled  3000 drop outs.we have planted more than 5000 trees with the help of forest department.
