Teaching ICT in the Dev. World

Posted by Richard Wiltshire at July 16. 2008

Hi,

I am currently working with the Suame Magazine Industrial Development Organization in Kumasi, Ghana. One project we have undertaken is teaching basic ICT to artisans (automotive mechanics with little formal education).

Can anyone recommend a good teaching resource (curriculum, lesson plans, manual) and/or student workbooks that are designed specifically for these types of students? At the moment we are covering topics such as introduction to computers and basic MS Office.

Thanks,

Richard

Hi Richard,

Have you spoken with Inveneo yet? They may be better equipped to answer your questions.

Cheers,

Varun
